Blackberry Curve

    Somehow my Blackberry's screen has cracked in my pocket its only just over 2 weeks old O2 say its not covered on the warrenty so i have to go through my phone insurance, however i have just seen a new screen on ebay for a fiver does anyone know if they are easy to fit. The insurance will cost me £50 excess.

    surely the phone home or whatever its called in town near the bus station will be able to fix it for you, might be worth asking in there?

    Should be really easy if you get the right screwdriver. I replaced a screen (not same model though) not long ago with one that came from the far east for a fiver and the screw driver needed came with the screen (you can buy a set of micro-screwdrivers for next to nothing on ebay anyway). It took about two minutes to do the job (three screws and unplug old one etc.) and the local shop was wanting £30 to do it!! You'll probably find something on the internet that will even show you exactly how to do it.
