Blackburn - every kind of gamesmanship going

    Rhodes holding on to defenders hands in the box to make it look as though he is being held
    Buying free kicks feigning fouls, continually
    Saluting the crowd after their first goal
    Surrounding the linesman
    Delaying the penalty

    Hard to say which bits are part of the game and which are cynical, but I do wish our players would wise up to it.

    The ref lost the game early doors.

    Why, early on, did the ref call the captains together to have a word? There'd only been about 2 fouls up to that point.

    Oh, and it was a blatant pen and Dawson deserved to get booked. There were a dodgy over-the-top-with-feet-off-the-ground tackles from them too, inclusive but some refs would have flashed the yellow at least.

    Agreed. Bunch of weak pappy bast@rds - the lot of 'em.

    Always have disliked Blackburn - ideas above their station.

    Ref was poor throughout.

    His first game in the Championship, according to the commentary. He has to start somewhere at this level, but clearly a lot of people think he was out of his depth.

    Don't know how he didn't get booked for inciting over eight and a half thousand people. The stewards can't have been too pleased at the ref failing to take control, thus making their job of control angry fans harder.

    Blackburn were cynical and took gamesmanship to another level but the referee was abject tonight.

    Got to say I was disappointed with Blackburn's antics.

    A stronger and experienced referee maybe would have seen this and handled the game better?

    How Gary Bowyer is moaning at our penalty, just makes me believe he is responsible for instilling their unprofessional conduct into the team? Clear cut penalty, he was pushed from behind.

    Bowyer should take a look at his players, who, at times, were a fecking embarrassment........which is a shame, cos they can play football a bit !!!

    Made me laugh how Cairney celebrated a deflected goal like he was Ronaldo. Matt Kilgallon was a pr!ck as well, gave the linesman some reyt abuse for the penalty the dee dar ****er.

    There fans weren’t much better the way they all got on their feet in anger when they didn’t get a penalty for what wasn’t even a foul when Rhodes dove in the box for the 8th time.

    What a cheating smarmy lovely person he is by the way.

    Was the same when he got Mvoto sent off in the other game.
