    Any advice on what's best route to Ewood?

    M62 > A66 (through Bolton) > M65
    M62 > M61 > M65 (looks longer but all motorway)
    Back route through Hudds >Hedben Bridge towards Burnley

    Concious of potential delays on M62 ?

    I personally wouldn't take the road towards Burnley, seems to take years to get where you're going that way. Im just gonna go M62, and set off in plenty of time

    No advice - I've never been. But if I get off work a bit early I will be going tonight.
    My plan was a hybrid of those - M62 to Chain Bar then A58 thru Halifax to Todmorden. A646 to Burnley then M65 for the last leg.

    Not sure if it'll e any better/worse than previous suggestions but another one to consider.

    best thing to do is get in the car......think 'fek it i cannot be arsed' and go back inside and watch champions league on tv.

    I work with a Blackburn fan (lives in Blackburn) and she has said told me to come in this way:
    M61 / M66 / M65 J4.

    I'll be going over to the M61 through Holmfirth and Oldham to avoid the M62.

    Yep M66 turns into A56 keep on passing a Tesco on right take next turn off onto the B6232 Haslingden Grane Road which takes you to M65 Junction 5 take left down to Junc 4 its all signposted from there on in.
