Makes you realize just how lucky we are to have an owner that genuinely wants the best for our club and it's supporters.

I have a good few family In Blackpool on mi Mums side

My Cousin Brian would take me to Bloomfield whenever I was over there . The 'Pool' fans are indeed a good set of Lads and Lasses. I went to the Millenium Stadium, a few years back, when they Won the Paint Pot cup vs Cambridge ( I think). Martin Bullock was then playing for them... it was a fab day out and again the 'Pool' fans were superb.... They Certainly deserve better than what they have right now.

Absolutely diabolical. This is the danger that all football clubs are in nowadays, in that there is no continuity in the boardrooms any more and the clubs basically go to the highest bidder, who replaces the directors and staff lock, stock and barrel.

Over 100 years of tradition in football has been wiped out in one money-fixated generation.

If you created a list of 'things that a club owner could do to piss off its fanbase', this lovely person would have ticked off the lot of em. But you're right, I ought to be careful calling him a lovely person. The lovely person.

Any reason you prefer Whitey to post it instead of posting yourself? :)

The convicted rapist is indeed an odious character, as is his son,
the Blackpool fans are having a big protest on Saturday with fans from many other clubs going along to show their support and disgust at the actions of the owners.......I am surprised they havnt been on here asking for support, I would have gone but its Morecambe's final game of the season also.if you have a few mins spare look at their board.....link http://fansonline.net/blackpool/mb/ ....it makes interesting reading...removing Stan Mortesons statue is the final straw for a lot of them, re season tickets many s/t holders have indeed boycotted their home games but unfortunately had bought 2 year tickets.......
I have a bit of a soft spot for Blackpool, when I was a yung un and unable to get to Barnsley matches by myself I used to go to their games with my Blackpool supporting mate on a coach which ran from the next village to us....in them days they were always knocking on the door of the old first division..if there had been play offs then they would have been in them most years....and we were in the old 4th division.....
