Which stand have they been given ? Not sure about this, but i seem to recall reading somewhere (on here i think), we are having the north stand for some reason, meaning Blackpool are located in the old west stand, i am right or have i been dreaming again ?
i'm sure it was Gally who said it after a meeting with the don, but don't hold me to that because i'm not too sure, i try not to remember a lot of the ***** i read on here and sometimes i forget the stuff i could do with remembering
So away fans in the West, close the Ponty and East Stand and they could fit us all in the North Stand. Might save a few bob.
Although Don said it I think club will be pissed off if Blackpool could sell more than smaller allocation while moaning gits in Barnsley still don't show up
What do you reckon the attendance will be then? Quick edit, just seen it on another thread, you'd be surprised if there's more than 11k? Seriously? There will be more there than the Boro game.
Is it being advertised on Dearne FM and Hallam? If not why not? Or are the people of Barnsley just supposed to know? Or is it upto the fans that go to tell everyone else? I really have no idea at all, so I would like to know
The club has just started advertising on their Facebook/Twitter. Apparently Radio Dee Dah and the Chron have mentioned it. Quite a few of us have plastered it all over Facebook too.
I have noticed the Facebook stuff, but are the club doing any adverts on local radio? Or just hoping for mentions on Footy heaven etc?
I hope they are. There is more than enough room in the other 3 stands for the Barnsley fans who will turn up. If we move the Blacky fans they will be limited to what, 2500 tickets? I reckon they will bring more than that, so we could be losing out on ticket sales. Blacky are top of the table, it is £12.50, and the game comes after a 2 week break, there could be 4000+ easily.
They are sending some smoke signals up so the message can be seen all over the Barnsley area. They've just lit the fire behind the East Stand, pity it's dark so no fecker will see them.
It pisses me off when after a cheap match, the usual suspects on here come on spouting about how we never get any extra fans in and the club just lose money( you know who you are), yet when I ask people why they dont go to these matches, they say they dont know about them!! It seems that everything that needs a bit of work doing on it is left to the Supporters Club and other fans! The club just sit back and wait!!!
Blackpool have been given 2000 tickets it says on there website, So I presume that is for the north stand with more available if needs be. They have the cheap prices as well so I'm hoping they at least fill half the north stand if not 4000+.
I was only pillocking. I agree, the club should be advertising in the star, the Chron and local radio. The fans will do their bit on forums, Facebook, Twitter, etc. We need to get the message out. Don stop phoning, I'm on my way with the matches ffs. I'll be about ten minutes.
