Blackpool manager Ian Holloway remains hopeful that a deal can be done to bring Rangers midfielder Charlie Adam back to the club.

The Scotland international impressed whilst on loan at Bloomfield Road last season and Holloway has told skysports.com that he likes what he has seen in the 23-year-old.

"I don't think his wages will be a problem, but it all boils down to whether the chairman can come to a deal with Rangers for him," Holloway told skysports.com.

"I've seen a couple of DVDs of the lad and he looks a fantastic player that is very calm and calculated on the ball, so we will be trying to come to an agreement for his services.

"He's very good with the ball at his feet, attacking the opposition defence, so he would be a great addition."
