always a decent following from them, should expect about 1500 if they can pay on the day. could be around an 11,000 crowd, decent for this year, the norm for last season.
Ive read that msg board a fair bit lately and they seem to see us as a good day out, and say they are due a result at Oakwell. With it being POTD too, Id expect close to 1,500, which at £30 a pop will please Donald
I doubt that will make up for the fans we have lost because of the catigory system. £30 is more than the locals are prepared to pay for 2nd rate football.
That 1-0 september defeat there a few years ago though rivaled being at the first ever MK Dons league game with regards to burning in heat. Both away ends were pretty much a shithole with no real stand for shade.
You dont need to tell me that Manny... But I have a feeling it will be a flat-rate £25 next year, which will probably work out more than this year.. and the ST will go up again
http://www.blackpoolfc.co.uk/page/AwayTickets/0,,10432~2518869,00.html Ended up selling over 1100 - hopefully be at least 1500 with pay on the day, maybe 2000 will be to much wishfull thinking.
Poor effort for one of their nearer games and the biggest football day in the calendar. We would have sold double that if the fixtures were reversed. As for Blackpool fans paying £30 - tough ****. They've been ripping off away fans for years.
Well said Conan. Just down from the premiership and a local game that's a poor turnout. When we play there on easter monday our allocation will be gone with people coming out of the woodwork wanting to watch us away all of a sudden to spend bank holiday at the seaside.
Yh those horrible people coming out of the woodwork wanting to watch our big games, like away at Liverpool in the cup. W@nker5.
