BST have contacted the Supporters Trust asking us to support their campaign against the club.
1750 fans have refused to buy season tickets this season along with club merchandise.

They have asked Barnsley fans to boycott the game, however, appreciate that most of us will go to the game to support our own club.

On that basis they have asked Barnsley fans not to buy any merchandise, programmes, food, drinks or lottery when at the game.

    The choice is yours.

I don't think they can expect people of other clubs to help fight their battles for them. Going without food at Bloomfield Road is easy enough. Lots of fast food on the sea front and www.toastblackpool.co.uk for a decent post game meal. It beats their meat and potato pie that are too pale and lack meat. But people will be wanting a drink because anyone trying to get one into the ground will have it taken off them most probably. Plenty will buy a programme too.

    Why?

They're not expecting just asking. If I was going I'd do it for them.

When oyston took them over they were rock bottom with a decaying stadium.

They've lived the dream and they held him up as a hero when he refused to be had over by the agents

Exactly my thoughts. I dont see what they expect there? Theyve lived the high life but just like many clubs who have been there, like us, eventually you will come back down and they are only about where they belong.

I'm happy to boycott in solidarity as I didn't really fancy it anyway and don't fancy giving my money to the no doubt charming Mr Oyston

So every single time another club is in trouble we should make it our problem?

Lets also not forget that Blackpool are, for what I can think, roughly about the same position now as they were 7/8 years ago before Oyston invested to get them to the PL so its not as if he's took some established PL side and plundered them to L1.

Not buying a pie is hardly making it our problem is it?! It's just a small thing that you could do to help their cause, if you don't want to support then don't.

What exactly is their cause? They had a few years of success and are now back exactly where they were. I dont know exactly what they expect.

Their gripes against the Oystons are lengthy...but include a lack of investment in the team......all the premier money not re invested etc, also the owners have been suing lots of fans for comments written on message boards...lets just say if our owner took the same line half this board would be in court....as I said earlier look at their message boards and see for yourself.....as for me, I am 100% their gripes and I believe all self respecting Football fans should be...as others have said we looked for support from other clubs during some of our darker days...,
