I actually feel sorry for the genuine Blackpool fans - not the ones that jumped on the gravy train when they reached the Prem but the true fans who have supported them for years. To have your club wrecked by an owner who is completely out of touch must be heat breaking Sobering thought as well is but for Patrick it could just as easily have happened to us
I'm going, but there's no delight in outnumbering their fans for me - as impressive as our away following will be - their club is being taken away from them.
Very true got to feel for them I can remember going under flicker they had not long scince been relegated from the prem the ground wasn't far off full.
I know not trying to go all wednesday mate just highlighting how much their gates have shrunk because of oysten from.near on full houses a few seasons back.
All Blackpool fans ask of away fans is they do not fill Oyston's coffers. Please Reds fans, do not purchase any goods or merchandise in or around the ground.
If we could stick to not buying anything in the ground that would be great showing solidarity to fellow supporters getting ****** over.
1. No investment of Premier League Money in playing staff, training facilities or grounds 2. Monies hived off from Football Club as interest free loans to other Oyston companies 3. Sued Blackpool fans for protesting. Sued Blackpool fans for comments made on message boards. Sued message board admin for comments made on message boards. 4. Paid Owen Oyston 11 million pounds for acting as Chairman. Not repaid the club President Valerie Belekon for loans made to the club - ongoing court case. 5. Has a personalised number plate on car that basically says OYSTON OUT - thinks its very funny I believe
I think, like us, they enjoyed the year in the Prem. But expected to see some long term benefits from that success.
I do hope people will refrain from buying drinks/programmes. Hopefully that money will be spent locally, boosting the local economy, even a little.
I'd say I do hope our fans don't give it the "we've got more fans than you" treatment, but I think the Blackpool fans that are boycotting games would find it quite funny. They've got no love for the "mushrooms" that are attending the games. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
After buying a 15 quid ticket it's not going to make much difference to them if people don't purchase a two quid drink or three quid programme.
The only reason we got to the prem was because of belekon who funded the likes of Adam, DJ etc. He also funded the home south that you chaps are in on sat, and reason why koko has put you in there is of the home bar (which will now be away) and more concourse space for you to drink and eat, so any boycott on this would be funny and welcome.... However I can fully understand why you want beer as ure away and want a great time... But surely any food can be bought elsewhere. Good luck sat hope ya win
Yes but they still get 6 quid per adult ticket which is three times more than someone buying a warm drink at half time on a cold winter seaside day.
