I was trying not to get too carried away, but looking at this weekend's fixtures, if we win we could easily jump three places. We could well drop back down over the next couple of games though, so even if we beat Leeds it's likely to come down to the QPR game. We have a few teams playing each other, and this weekend we could have done with Derby losing and Burnley winning, so that Derby don't need to beat us and may be tempted to take it easy with the play offs in mind, but the again we could do with Donny losing... Would be nice to be ahead of Charlton and Blackpool before the last game though, so the only way they could both finish above us is hoping we lose and they would then need to play out a draw, with their keeper hanging on to the ball for the last minute and a half. That would never happen...
Leeds: Not going up or down. Derby: Play offs beckon. Will they want players to go full pelt at us? Middlesborough: Nothing to play for, one eye on the beach. QPR: Dodgy Harry won't be having his players risking being tired/suspended/injured for the play offs. Weakened team. Personally I think we've a better run in than most. I'm glad we played the teams going for the play offs like Forest, Reading and Ipswich when we did and not now.
Leeds - absolutely dog **** Derby - no pride park Middlesbrough - standard away win QPR - Harry's last game
Boro still fancy their chances. My mate at work reckons they'll sneak the play offs as they're playing their best football of the season at the minute Think they've got Millwall on Saturday too.
