my mum told me this morning she saw Jon Stead in the local shop, so she obviously went and had a chat with him, he congratulated us on our cup run and said he hoped we stayed up this season, also said that if you had Blackwell all season he was sure you would have got playoffs at least ( bit of a pop a Robson there) , but she said he was a top lad overall (y)

I think Jon Stead is a top player. When he joined last year the team seemed to improve. I can't believe he's not a first team regular. On the bench yesterday
Results under KB massively improved. We mullered Burnley yesterday. Have to say Barnsley looked a much better team than Burnley. Least intimidating ground I've ever been to.
not a bad shout that. I just think Stead gives you movement, an ability to take men on and creative to boot. Billy was unimpressive yesterday. Runs about a lot but easily gaffered. He did score, right place right time and all that but Cotterill put it on his head. Beattie and Cotterill would be ideal for next season but can't see either being there next season.
