why ? is it because we can't trust a certain element of our fans when there are opposition fans there.
Also are you going to buy their seats so that the club don't lose revenue ?

Opposite reason Dave, it was the sheffield united fans in there that were causing trouble and apparently were kicked out for it. We don't allow away fans into the home stands so why allow them into the home areas where they can taunt our fans just because they've paid more?
Fair enough ST that's badly behaved opposition fans.
I've been invited to Hillsboroughto watchBarnsley from their exec boxes. I've been decked up inBarnsley scarf etc. When we scored I've celebrated andnever had a problem. After the match I've shook hands with the Wednesday fans I've watched the match and had a few drinks with them.
I think the problem may be letting a boxentirely to a group of opposition fans. If it was some Barnsleyfans who had Utd fans as their guests then probably the behaviour would have been better.

I agree, it just seems crazy to give away fans a box in amongst the home supporters and it's caused trouble quite a number of times that I can remember. The sooner we build a new west stand same as the east and shove the away fans into a small corner with their own box or two the better. Home fans behind both goals is needed
Been in the exec boxes a Wolves v Barnsley matches a few times. Rules then were that you weren't allowed to wear colours irrespective of which team you supported.
