If someone beleives in God.......they are going to seek guidance from him during major decisions Why shouldn't Blair mention God when talking about the Middle East Don't people in the Middle East beleive in God??? Or do they beleive that there is only one God That God is the same God that Tony Blair and all other Christians believe in So why do people such as Acky jump on the band wagon when there is any comment about Tony Blair If they are atheists then so be it - they can say they dont beleive in God or Tony Blairs views of God But its not that is it - all what it is is for anti-war or anti-Tony Blair people to try and belittle a guy who has had to make a decision to go to war with a dictator.
Without religion the world would be a better place......Should read without the 'United Nations' Religion is a good thing if it dosen't impose on or threaten others United Nations is a bad thing because it stands back and watches... Kosovo - men and young boys being taken into woods and shot in the back of the head Sierra Leon - young children having their hands cut off and others delibratly blinded Rwander - ethnic cleansing and a million peole are murdered If the light blue helmets can stand and watch this - my vote is with NATO and the USA
RE: What a load of............. You miss the point spectacularly. This sort of thing might have been impressive in the Middle Ages, where kings styled themselves as "Gods representative on earth" but i'd like to think that we've grown up a bit....but that isn't the case - is it?
RE: Without religion the world would be a better place......Should read without the 'United Nations Ahh its all so simple....... Try telling the poeple of East Timor about the US and UK as they supported Indonesian dictator Suharto whilst he slaughtered 500,000 East Timorese. Try telling that to the people of Iraq when the CIA brough Saddam into power Try telling that to the numerous democratically elected leaders of countries the US has succeeded in plotting to overthrow simply because the US didnt feel their governments were "favourable to their interests" There's no excuse for not bothering to read some history, unless you fear the truth of what the US has done in the name of 'democracy and freedom'. Its ok though blame me, its far easier.ff
