Today I found myself arguing with fans around me who thought the referee was completely to blame for todays debacle.

    I disagree!

I thought when down to ten men we still worked hard enough to give us the chance to take something from the game but when the one clearcut chance came along Conlon managed to find the keeper from two yards out.

Other than that and a header from Carbon that was pushed over we created nothing all afternoon.

Balls from both Devaney and Shuker failed to pick anyone out and the long ball over the top for Hayes just isnt working.

the idea for wingers like devaney and shuker is to put the balls in the box and the job of the striker is to find that ball if it is played in as simple as that

if the dev and shu put the ball in then job done it is then up to conlon and co to be there and find them balls

I thought Devany was excellent in forst half after Austin got sent off he was doing the job of a left back and a left winger
