Darn Sarf with Mrs.H visiting friends this weekend and decided to pop along to watch Camberley Town v Bedfont (who?) this aft for summat to do. Wearing number 3 for Camberlwy was none other than Dazzer Barnard. Well you could have knocked me down with a feather. Only played 60 minutes or so but can still lay a ball off with the best of 'em. The programme has him as "General Manager & Director of Football". Would love to have had a word with him but you can't interrupt a man at work can you. Still, brought back memories though.
Some great memories here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OeuLN5m2FE&feature=related and some more recent ones http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwXLnCONPFs&NR=1
Thanks for posting those clips again, old buddy Lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. I especially like the photo of you and Istvan Ferenczi!!
RE: Thanks for posting those clips again, old buddy I thought I did alright on loan, was disappointed not to get a permanent deal
That was because The manager played you out wide most of the time, rather than down through the middle with Istvan. The fans, of course, were entirely to blame.
I'm confused Why, in 2009, has a Norwegian created an animation about an injury to a journeyman footballer that happened over 10 years ago?
He's originally from Frogmore nearby and has been playing non league for a while down here. I didn't know he played for Camberley though. That's only about a mile or two away so I may pop along sometime when I'm free. Thanks for letting us know. As I recall Dazzer B scored one of the best goals at Oakwell ever (IMHO). Goal six against Huddersfield Town takes some beating. Good memories.
Another Blast from The Past! King's Lynn V Matlock yesterday, Matlock keeper Adam Sollitt (had a stinker, booked and let 5 in), another player in the Matlock Pen Pics (not playing) Ryan Laight.
