Had radio in his ear listening to Leeds game all match. We didn't know what was going on after Ipswich equalised until he leapt up and shouted "IPSWICH AV SCOOARED A SECOND! 2-1 IPSWICH!!!!". He then later confiemd final whistle had been blown and that was the final score. I then texted my mates - telling them Leeds were losing.

If you come on this BBS, and you're on row R behind the goal (I won't give your seat no. away), tell me, were you really listening to a game on your radio? if so which game was it?

    FFS ......

and it did say that Ipswich had scored a second. In fact Andy Firth said, on Oakwell AM., it wasn't confirmed but that was what he had heard. Then no-one could get any further news from Leeds even though he was trying to listen in and find out.

The next thing that was said was that there had been a pitch invasion and the players had had to get off quickly so the game hadn't finished.

As Crystal said, I don't think you can blame the bloke

Someone behind me in the East Upper did exactly the same- it was annoucned thatIpswich has scored a second and because of all the confusion nobody knew what was going on.

Wasn't till I saw Sky Sports News that I knew exactly what was happening.

It was just after our game had finished, I was already going down the stairs in East Stand, Ipswich scored but it was disallowed, fortunately I heard it was dsallowed before I said anything so at least I didn't give anyone false hope. Was in the car park when they said Leeds fans had invaded the pitch and the commentator said that as a result the ref blew the final whistle.
