I've just checked my bill online and they've increased my direct debit from £82 to £136 a month even tho i'm in credit with them. Err I don't think so.
They did the same with me and when i rang to complain they had a shocking attitude so i cancelled, took weeks for that to get sorted n all, horrible company ***** customer service
British Gas do the same. Try and bump up ur payments even though your meeting ur useage. Do the sums yourself and 'Tell them what your going to pay' - if your payments do fall behind your useage, clear off the debt and increase accordingly.
Nothing but prob since meterplus read wrong elec box and changed all my account. Tried charging 520 for two days electric. Been going on 6 months. They had to just stop my payments and will cover my costs with compensation until they sort it
