My replacements as Sports Editors of 'Leeds Student' have done a grand job this week ff I wrote a 1000 word preview of St Helens v Leeds Rhinos tonight based on interviews with coach Tony Smith and two of the players... got a photographer to come down and everything so we had our own photos, which isn't always possible... So I pick up the paper this morning, and everything looked okay, until I read the 'stand first', in which they described Rob Burrow as a 'SCUM' half, and the pull out quote they chose, where they wrote 'too' instead of 'two', despite the fact it was correct in the article! The only things they wrote on the page! (NOOO) Amateurs (doh)
To be fair they've only been in the job for a couple of weeks, but when they've ruined my article... !
