Was it true that anyone wanting to go to the Swansea game had to go by coach?

On Sky it said match tickets were only given out once fans were on the coaches.

Was there less trouble than the cup game?

Yes, its called a "bubble trip". You buy vouchers for the coach/ticket package and are given tickets en-route.

We've had them for years at "high-profile" games and they're a right pain in the arse tbh. We've got loads this year with Brum, Wolves, Brizzle City, sw*nsea & Plymouth (!) off the top of my head. Even had it going to Hull - that was a long escort for them, left us go on alone at Tamworth.

When you travel to sw*nsea for instance, you get the full police escort, every entry & exit sliproad blocked off, outriders on bikes & helicopters above. 30/40mph along the motorway and no chance of leaving the escort. Pain in the neck for everyday folk going about their business as well.

For trips further away (L**ds for example), you have to meet in a designated services to collect your tickets from the police. If you're not there on time & ready to leave (after coaches have been searched - sometimes with dogs as well), you're turned away and escorted home.

Only trouble was with a couple of Cardiff fans who couldn't get tickets & went in sw*nsea sections. Only real trouble last time was stone-throwing kids of theirs. Loads arrested for it afer pictures in the papers etc.

Heres a clip of the convoy (this is in Cardiff btw before most of the police join on at the M4 junction)
