Seen your posts on this site in the past - just as a matter of interest do you trawl through a number of other teams sites or do you pay particular attention to ours? - Not objecting mind - I usually find your comments pretty fair - this is probably the reason you do not get slagged off as some other visitors do who are just trying to take the ride out of Barnsley fans
He was on quite a lot before last season's first game.. .. always gives a good account of the good and the bad things going on at Cardiff. I think you've hit the nail on the head in that he comes on here for a chat/good discussion and treats us with respect. That respect is given back to him.
I do occasionally look at other sites around the time of our games but very rarely tbh. This is the only one I post on. I came on here last year after it was announced that we'd meet in the first game of the season - around the start of June. Didn't post for a while, just read the threads. Obviously the game was a while away and as it got closer excitement kicked in and I started to post. Took a bit of stick at the start, as expected, but carried on regardless. Some of the posts on here are hilarious, there's some right characters and I enjoy the banter. That's why I've stuck with it.
How have the rugger-buggers taken the leaving of the Arms Park for Cardiff rygbi?
Are they gonna finish off the Millenium Stadium properlly once the Rugby moves?

RE: How have the rugger-buggers taken the leaving of the Arms Park It's the Blues - a regional rugby set-up - that are leaving the Arms Park to rent from us. Cardiff RFC are going to stay there for the time being but I understand they are going to be moving to Sophia Gardens. Cardiff Athletic Club actually own the Arms Park and both the Blues and Cardiff RFC are tennants of theirs. Quite a few of the Blues fans are unhappy at renting from us because it moves them from the city centre and the facilities that offers to the outskirts, and they'd have to change their routines. Awww, bless. Then again, there's quite a few of them who are gutted that they'll be tennants of a football club as they see themselves as the major sport in Wales. If you listen to them, they believe they're the major sport in the world though. What a joke. There are talks to complete the Millenium stadium and turn the Arms Park into a car park to serve the MillStad . Best thing for it, lol.
RE: How have the rugger-buggers taken the leaving of the Arms Park Not much point "finishing" the Millennium now is there - FA Cup, playoffs etc are back at Wembley, the Wales national team seem to be on a downward slope now having missed the chance a couple of years ago with a good team.
The Rugby-Centric media must be spitting feathers, The Rugby pitch looked like a ploughed field most of the time so will look better as a car park.
Leckwith is hardly the outskirts, it cant be more than a 15 minute walk from the Prince of Wales boozer.

RE: They are, believe me They hate it. Their stories, fables more like, have always refered to the Blues "sharing" with Cardiff City. Until that is we insisted at their press conference to announce the deal that they accurately describe the Blues as tennants renting off Cardiff City. That put them in their place. 15 minute walk from the PoW? Have you seen the size of your average egg chaser?
RE: How have the rugger-buggers taken the leaving of the Arms Park To a point, I do agree. Should have been done originally but Cardiff Athletic Club refused permission to alter the adjoining Arms Park. But, the rental of the MillStad to the FA was always going to be a temporary thing - even if that temporary thing lasted much longer than expected . That income was never allowed for in their budgeting either. The rugger side will always sell out in all fairness to them, even with a bigger capacity and the football side has some bright young talent which may blossom in the future. The Millstad has been trying to attract European finals and has struggled because of the parking facilities. They've been told that they'll be in line should this be sorted.
