    It’s the biggest growing social media platform right now. It is basically what Twitter was, years ago. It’s great.

    If it means the Club ditching Twitter I’m all for it. If it’s just another SM channel, not sure of the point, unless it’s just to secure the domain name? Whether Bluesky catches on or not, remains to be seen. Jack Dorsey bailed out pretty quickly. It’s decentralised, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it follows the same fate that mastodon did/does. They don’t seem bothered about Threads.

    Pretty sure they’ve opened an account to claim the name, as you’ve said. But for me, they ought to be posting content on it too. Be at the front. Build the following. In that line of work, you should be excited by the opportunity to build your brand on a new platform. I’d be on the X account asking all 183,000 followers to follow them on BlueSky.

    Not my problem anymore, mind!

    It’s gaining traction a lot quicker than mastedon ever did. A lot of people I followed on Twitter have now migrated and I’ve signed up. So far it’s a much nicer place than x has become
    I’m @farnhamred.bsky.social if anyone is interested planning to gradually transition over and will mostly be posting on bsky in future
