    I liked adkins wanted him here before Johnson got job did a great job at scunny turned them from league 2 to mid table championship, did really well with Southampton but he did inherit a good side, not so well with reading and now even worse with blunts.

    But at least he has some success on his cv.

    If were in for the long haul manager wise Adkins would be the better bet but no doubt his salary is far more inflated than Johnsons
