    FORMER Hull City favourite Ryan France has completed a shock move to Sheffield United.</p>

    The 28-year-old midfielder had spent the last two weeks training with city rivals Sheffield Wednesday following his release from the KC Stadium.</p>

    But despite being offered a deal to remain at Hillsborough, France has left the Owls red-faced by instead signing for Kevin Blackwell's men.</p>

    It scuppers any hopes of City fans bidding farewell to France when the Tigers travel to face Wednesday in a pre-season friendly tomorrow.</p>

    Sheffield-born France spent almost six years at the KC Stadium and played in all three promotions through the leagues. :'( </p>

    Because Blunts have money to burn...............AGAIN ......why ???

    Because they have just sold two academy guys for 10 MILLION

    We have been running an academy for years and what have we got from ours...........chuff all

    Kay, Austin, Fallon etc, sold for a few quid.............while the Blunts get 10 million on top of the money they got for Jakielka and the other guy who signed for stoke

    Even Wendy nip in and take Beavers away from the Tarn

    Makes yer wonder whats been going off within our academy for all these years (N) (N) (N)

    Young nudger barnsley have some good u18's/u21 players and it has taken time but good players are coming through. RNL/ Adam/ butterfield/ potter/ coulson/ have all spent time in the u18's and Have they got the youngest ever football league player ?

    but to be fair.... that £25m... its built a hotel.... SUFC do not have.... alot of money... hence the sales for the youngsters . . . And the shopping around in the sales...

    And there are more to follow in my opinion.

    I think there are two or three players of this seasons second years who have got a chance of making it at Barnsley.

    I thought it was £8m

    and bloody ridiculous for a player thats played for just 1 season and another that only broke into the 1st team near end of season.
