I thought they were poor last night. Bear in mind they are now top of the league, there has to be hope
for us reaching the play offs. Their Goalkeeper was good and Carrol is a handfull, but nowt else we can
handle when we play em in December.

    Agree about Carrol

Strong, tough, intimidating, skillful, mature beyond his years. He could be player of the year in this league. I think he's a throwback to an old style centre forward.

I like to add a dose of realism to the board.

We were in the **** when Robins took over. We're not in as much ****, but we're still in it.

Talk of play offs etc is deluded at the minute, IMO like.

    It could well be..

but feels a hell of a lot better than Davey telling us how **** we are and how massive an achievement it is just to stay in the division...

I suppose we'll see if he was right come May.

I know the feel good factor is back but sometimes it can do more harm than good IE expectations raised too high, too quickly.

Let's stay up this year and see what Robins can do with his own team next.

    Okay...

Not getting carried away at all personally as we are still in the thick of it, just looking forward to games now and stil refreshed to hear positibe things instead of what went before...

    You have to think positive

No good having negative thoughts. We should be grateful we have a 'positive Manager'
    who breeds positive actions.

Remember early days when Robins was asked 'what kind of football will you play'
and he said 'winning football' thats what its all about.
