    I'm lucky I've stayed the same, but the missus is down to lose about £3k. There's one woman upsairs from us who will be losing £12k. it must be awful for her.

    And to make matters worse i have now got to prove myself to go up in the increments on a performance basis. where is the incentive in that!!!

    This whole exercise was supposed to be about single status aswell.

    Investors in people my arse...

    surely thats the same in all jobs. prove yourself, perform and get a pay rise. Do nothing get nothing. or am I missing something?

    That's a fair old wage cut then

    Do you think everyone's wages are coming more into line with the private sector or they are taking the piss?

    I dont mind perfomance related pay. i was in the Army for 24yr, so its fine. My point is that those who are losing wont be arsed, so they will not move up potentially in their careers

    I wish Kirklees would do a cull

    220 of them earning in excess of 50K
