They're a Scottish (I think) band that make rather experimental electronic music. Pretty good if you're into that sort of music and if you're in that kind of a mood...
Electronic ambient music was the description that I was thinking of. This sort of weird stuff:
Nice! Used to listen to them every now and again a while back, will definitely try and have a listen!
Wouldn't say they're perhaps overly similar, but heard of a band called This Will Destroy You? Not electronic as such (though is in parts), but very atmospheric in their own right Check out 'The Mighty Rio Grande', in fact, check out anything from the self titled record, incredible band in my opinion!
Obviously I was intrigued by the name. But having watched the youtube video I am now "Bored in Canada". If I'm ever sleepless and can't find any Enya to listen to, I'll have to remember this ;-)
Music Has the Right to Children was a cracking wee album though I never really got into Geogaddi as much. I think tomorrow's playlist is sorted Cheers
Id go for a lot like Tangerine Dream. Its OK but not music to have on in the car whilst on a long drive
I know what you mean CT. If I hadn't known better I might have thought that the bloke in the video jumped to end it all after listening to this music.
