Can someone please confirm my memory? When Norman Hunter was sacked in 1984, Bobby Collins was appointed caretaker manager. I remember the Reds winning 2-1 at Elland Road in the February and Bobby celebrating big time in front of the stand (directors box). Did we get a late winner also? Anyway, was Bobby appointed full-time manager following this victory?

    Win Saturday.......?!

Not just his first win but his first game, we beat them at home. We also won away later in the season

Talking of Leeds and managerial links wasn't Spackman's first game in charge against Leeds?

Sorry Johnny, but I think this requires an attempt at a full set of lyrics so that we can all hum along!!
