Without doubt! Will play anywhere at any time. For a player who didn't start his career at Oakwell he's probabley as dedicated servant as we've ever had. Never heard him complain about being left out. Just gets on with the job and fights to get his place back. If only he was a striker...

 

Wasn't he a striker in his youth team days?

I'm sure I read an interview with him somewhere where he was talking about it. Said he banged quite a few goals in as well I think.

Not sure it was as striker or midfield but used to score on a regular basis. When he signed a professional contract (Mansfield?) he was moved to defence.

I cannot remember him ever whinging about anything, he just gets on with it, whether its fullback, centrehalf, midfield or bench.

 

One of the most improved players we have had at Oakwell without a doubt.

 

Great squad player

Does a decent job wherever he's asked to play.
