Someone posted earlier that he should be captain and not Foster. In my view, he shouldn't be near the team. People have criticised Togwell, but Hassell leaves him for dead with his wayward passes etc.

Thought he had another decent game today

I'ld like to see some stats because IMHO he's a pretty decent passer.

seems to get a bit better in the role game by game IMHO

Thought he was terrible. Nyatanga, for some reason seemed very nervous and didn't play to his usual standard either.

    dont get me wrong

I'ld rather have Da Silve in the middle but Togwell, for all his effort, is not quite up to it.

    RE: dont get me wrong

Agree with you. Thought Bobby looked like a fish out of water to start with in midfield but he has grown into it. The odd pass does go astray but Togwell is no Glen Hoddle.

Thought Hassell's passing was awful today.

Made Togwell look like Cesc Fabregas. Thought he misplaced nigh-on every pass, and seemed to decide that he could do the same things as Leon and turn sharply, normally resulting in him being left on his backside. Tackled well, won headers, but his passing was atrocious.

I dont think we saw the same game

He made a couple of howlers but no more than Leon for example.

Togwell, Fabrigas...now that does take some imagination

Its an opinion based on all the times I've seen him

Always gives 100% but has his limitations.

I feel Hassell is the correct choice given our options

Well I was sat with the other BBSFC lads...

and we all agreed that his passing let him down badly today. Don't get me wrong, I like the bloke, but I think to say he misplaced as many passes as Leon in that game is stretching it - Hassell gave the ball away more in the first five minutes of the 2nd half than Leon did in 90.

with the backing of the BBSFC intelligentsia what does my opinion count!

Hassell is better than Togwell IMHO

    Ah right...

so now if I question your opinion, you believe it to mean that I'm saying you're not entitled to one?

I didn't realise the debate was on whether Hassell was better than Togwell. I thought it was about Hassell's passing today. My opinion is that Hassell's passing today was awful.

Not suggesting for a second that you're not entitled to your opinion - but I struggle to recall more than once, mebbe twice when Leon ever gave the ball away.

Maybe he should play upfront, his one goal probably makes his goals per minute ratio better than the strikers. Maybe since a full back nicked his position, he can go play up top. :)

    Leon was chasing shaddows

How many tackles did he make?

JCR was very poor in the first half too.

Honestly I thought Hassell misplaced a few passes but also made a few very good ones.

Think you have gone off on one about the opinions business.

    you tell me

I think Hassell has done more than enough to justify his place in the team since Da Silva's injury.
