He might have made a lot of mistakes while doing the defensive duties while leon made none but that was because he didnt even attempt to do any work.
It says Anderson on the back of his shirt You don't have to convince me about Leon. At least De Silva has had a number of very good performances. I missed the one that Leon had.
I think leon's had two hasnt he? one of his first games and the watford away. But Odejayi has had two good games too so I think that puts that into perspective. Am I right in thinking that Anderson was commonly called De Silva by the people of barnsley last season though? Im sure thats what the pa announcer used to call him when they read the teams out. Leon was man of the match by a country mile at Preston straight after the Watford game. It was pretty clear from those two games that he is very effective if deployed in a 3-5-2 with holding players around him - the rest of the team can't seem to play that system now, and if he doesn't fit into the 4-4-2, then he shouldn't be playing. And I'm pretty sure the PA system called him Anderson De Silva.
Yeah thats what I thought they called him. anderson as the first name and de silva as his surname. A bit strange considering his name is actually Anderson Silva de França and 'de silva' never appears in it. Brazillians are confusing and I think thats the problem with our team. Davey has got a group that are decent individually but collectively they just dont work
