Bobby hassell

I everyone i no this might not be popular but why was everyone cheering him today. Firstly foster had to cover him more than a few times in the first half. Another think that got me very mad was is lacking of attacking intent and this meaning the lack of WIDTH in the team on the right. Van homoet get up and down fine on the left buy hassell did not. What does hassell think hes too good for this and also another thing this was making the midfield look bad. I seem to remeber a time in the first half when hassell and anderson in the first half an Bob H passed anderson the ball and did not move. The bad thing about this was the only space on the field was in front of bob h. IT REALY GOT ME MAD AND I DONT LIKE GETTING ON TO PLAYERS BUT EVEN I SHOUTED AT HIM FROM MY SEAT IN EAST STAND

Hassell was my MOTM. Don't know where you are coming from with those criticisms at all.

Bobby was one light in a very dark alley today, i just dont get some fans at all. He had a great game and was also my MOM. He is a great defender and was our best player today

No he wasn't the main reason for our lack of width. Not playing JCR on the wing, not playing Devaney at all and not playing Hammill until the last 20 minutes, were the main reasons why we had no width. He's a defender ffs!

 

So One of de silva twins can get all way up pitch at ot fine. van homoet got up pitch today at oakwell. As i watch football now barcas alves can get up pitch at there ground. ALL 3 ARE DEFENDERS 2 CAN DO IT 1 CANT. ITs barca 0-1 espanyol by the way

 

I'd much rather see Bobby concentrating on doing his own job at the back outstandingly well, like today.

 

But you after when at home with 3 tight mids. I noticed some of the mids telling him before second half as well. barca 0-2 espanyol

I no what you mean pontyender but as you can see if you are watching the barca game that alves is getting a lot of room on and off the ball because hes getting up there

 

If you want to blame somebody for the lack of width today then blame the managers tactics. Bobby is a great defensive full back. The ball wasnt over his side a lot today and to be fair even if he had pused up as far as you wanted, the ball would have been in the air. We had no width on the right today because of how the team was set up, not because Bobby didnt push up. The guy was immense yet again today.

 

No if he gets up like any normal full back would at home with 3 cm's there would be more width. I sit in the east stand and the half that barnsley were attacking in the first half and i think the ball was on the right quite a bit but it takes him that long to get up that Darren moore could get to the pen spot before he gets up that wing. Even f the team is attacking on the left he should still be up a lot more than he as. As i said earlier i dont get on to players a lot and i have probably got on to players 2/3 times all season. I dont do this with out thinking

Sorry Hemsworth but ur talking out of ur arse. He was playing in defence hence why he was in defence most of the time, and as per usual doing exactly what he was there for - TO DEFEND!!</p>

Barnsley play 3 center mids as do Chelsea and bosingwa (sp sorry) and Cole and they do a great job getting up and down. Does hassell think hes too good or better than these.I watched football first today stoke vs Portsmouth and glen Johnson got up and down does hassell think hes better than him ?
