Joking aside, I suppose a comment by H/T prompted me to post this by suggesting that Bobby would only follow where the money was.
Had a great night last night. Bobby gives a lot of time to the cause (as he does most Mondays whilst the mini leagues are running), got his mate JOB to come along, as did Bruce Dyer, all giving their time freely. He also goes into local schools to try and get kids to sign up for the leagues. Even last night he was one of the first there putting out all the chairs, and one of the last there, tidying up. If he is only interested in Barnsley for the money he gets out of the place, then he is doing a poor job of it. I'm not going to go on about whether or not he should be playing in the team before our captain - that a matter of opinion and we all have different ones, but please don't suggest that BH is only interested in the money.

There is only one idiot that can't see Sir Bob for what he is, a true gent, an upstanding member of the community and a barnsley legend.

Well there are two but one of them doesn’t get personal and is constructive in his criticism.

I think that there should be a place at the club for Hassell, even after he retires. In spite of all the praise heaped upon the academy recently, I still have my doubts about the quality of coaching and our ability to attract the best young talent.
