    Maybe Bobby is not involved today as he is one of the contenders for the managers position has is Flitcroft. To play today could potentially be a conflict of interest.

    But what if Bobby had played and had a bad game which contributed to Barnsley losing. He would be open to accusations of sabotaging Flickers chances. I think Bobby may have asked not to play today to avoid this happening

    I think thats a daft suggestion - Bobby has always given 100% and I dont think he is a realistic contender for manager. There is something strange going on though and I would like to know what it is
