Fit enough to be on the bench then fit enough to play unless he's on the bench with the intention of coming on as physio

Or perhaps it's just all we have and he's prepared to come on if needed?

That just underlines what a royal mess we are in.

It's a disgrace, been a a write off of a season from the start.

A proper defender who knows how to defend. Found it needless waste of a season and money on a season ticket.

They're all *****. A half fit Bobby is a better option.

Been fully fit now for a few weeks. It's something I've grown accustomed to over the last few years, seeing him ignored by managers. Just surprised that Danny is doing it. I can defend Danny to the hilt on many topics, but TK is a below average left back, so to pick him at right back instead of Hassell gives me a headache.

I hope Bobby gets a game at Boro and then against QPR. Give us supporters a chance to say goodbye properly.

Just a shame/coincidence that the first season we totally ignore him, we're going down.

Particularly as we played a clearly unfit McLaughlin at Wigan. He was holding his leg as he came on to the pitch that night, never mind when he left it. So we're prepared to play a clearly unfit kid with 1 or 2 professional games under his belt against a team with one of the best attacking line ups in the division, but we can't risk an experienced pro like Hassell, instead preferring to play someone who is in poor form on the side of the pitch that would require use of a foot that he only uses for balance?

Hassell has always improved our defence when he has come back into the team over the past few seasons and he has also popped up with the odd goal (and even proved to be better in goal than some of the chumps that Hill and Flicker brought in as specialist keepers!), yet no manager wants to pick him. I am now starting to think that there's something really evil about Hassell and that he just hides behind this facade of a more than competent defensive footballer, pillar of the community and all round top bloke. We just can't see it. Maybe he's been taking the lyrics of his song literally and has been sh@gging the managers wives?
