some of the best strikers in history have been called that, sometimes it comes down to do you want somebody who can put the ball in the net on a regular basis or somebody who runs about a lot with very little end result,
A lot of good strikers are but i have faith that Davey can use him effectively and get the best out of him.
You are right, but the irony in this case is that Bogo .... ...... runs his blood to water from what I've seen so far, he's a grafter as well as a goal-scorer
I think he's referring to this article http://www.barnsleyone.com/article_template.php?seqno=790 "What I demand is not just scoring goals, but to compete, run the channels, link up play and be a team player" "I will admit I didn't feel over the last six to eight weeks that Daniel had given that extra to be in the starting eleven"
Also if he's run himself out a bit it might cost him the extra yard of pace that helps him get his goals,if he keeps scoring I think it excuses him a lot ,there arent a lot of players out there with that talent.
He never said he wasn't running enough, he said he wasn't offering anything except goals...and generally I agree. He gives away loads of free kicks by jumping for headers looking at the defender, isn't the fastest so doesn't tire out the defence and doesn't link up play a la macken. like davey said, if he can use another striker to do boggy's work for him (i.e. odejayi) who'll just give the defenders problems then boggy is free to just concentrate on scoring.
