Must have thought what the hell was he doing here after 10minutes and 2-0 down!! However well deserved on the man of the match award, thought he looked good, in the first half put 2 excellent crosses in that any half decent striking partner would have tried to get onto but macken was just stood still as normal. Took his goal well and tried to get the crowd going! All in all a good debut.
Good debut indeed, but too early to say he's a good player, much like it would have been too early to call him ***** if his debut hadn't been so good. Hopefully we will see him and Hume up front at some point together.
I know i'm the only one who's going to say this so i'll brace myself for some stick before I log off, Bogdanovich scored a good goal almost got another put himself about a lot, a taller Brendan O'connell anyone? I'm surprised he came out for the 2nd half after the gestures he made to Davey about being left on his own when they had got a corner or was it a free kick?
At least he looked a natural footballer, comfortable on the ball, a willing workhorse and good finish tonight. (But we'll soon knock that out of him!)
Just seen his goal again and thought he took it well. Looked for the ball often, couple of decent crosses into the box and tried to get the crowd going. Seemed to pull up though after 60 minutes or so, hopefully just tired muscles and he can be in the team Saturday.
