Im not clever enough to post the link but i see the chairman at Forest Green Rovers....is a tiny bit upset that Bolton have taken Christian Doige (spelling?)and basically well lied....they took him on loan with a view to a permanent signing...but could not pay for him...he has therefore returned back to Forest Green. ..oh and the best bit....Bolton haven't paid the players wages for the past 4 months!!! FGR ...have! They are reporting bolton to the EFL.
I'm very glad that Dale Vince has come out and said something publicly. Bolton are a despicable set of cheats, and if we're being honest, have stolen a Championship place off us or Burton, two clubs which played by the rules last season and paid the price for doing so.
They should be docked points for this incident and if they go down anyway they should count to next years total in League One
Just think if all the club's did this!! ....there has always got to be one breaking the rules.....really starting to wind me up. They have only just escaped administration too! I do feel for their fans but it's time for the book to be thrown at them.......12 point deduction.......banned from transfers for 2 seasons... clean your act up bolton.
What's that saying about....for evil to prosper...only requires good people to remain silent? All the club's should complain about Boltons conduct....unless of course others have something to hide!
Apparently he’d just bought a house in the area too. Remi Matthews is in the same boat. Was on loan from Norwich, and due to sign permanently. His missus had just left her job to move up to Bolton with him. No doubt they’ll get away with it all, as they always do.
Bristol city are looking to take joe Williams off their hands apparently lining up a 1million pound bid for the midfielder and Everton will cancel his loan to Bolton if so.
It’s a disgrace really what they’ve been able to get away with. They cheated there way to survival last season by buying & loaning players they couldn’t afford but I’ll guarantee when they get relegated all these on 5live, talksport & Sky Sports news will be saying how bad it is for the poor Bolton fans & there’ll not be a mention for us or Burton where at least one of us lost out on £6m by Bolton’s overspending. I’m pretty sure that they were regularly linked to similar players as us, I wouldn’t be surprised if they offered players more money than we did given their track record. Burton might never get back to that level given the size of their gates, Bolton might have robbed them of £6m plus a third season in the championship
It’s cheating! The owners etc don’t deserve their fans - Bolton have been in a financial mess for a number of years but have still been able to do this! It makes fools out of the ELF & other clubs with devastating effects on some clubs like ourselves & Burton who lost approx £6 million due to relegation
