https://www.bwfc.co.uk/news/away-play-ticket-information-barnsley Shambles really. Should be given the full end if we don't plan to split it for our own. Costing ourselves money when we are supposedly skint.
Good. It would be like a home game for them if we gave them the full allocation. Hopefully they put them at the top of the north stand out of the way.
Away following doesn't win the game on the pitch. I could understand if we split it but we won't. We will only get 2k now because they won't give us the lower tier of the south stand.
Probably have reciprocated the allocation, that we have been allocated for the second leg. Fully agree if that is the case.
Probably not worth the additional stewarding and policing costs and I guess we are just getting about the same amount from them.
Why not make the allocation for the playoff semi’s on the same ruling as fa cup games ? It would stop all this petty squabbling and enable loads of fans ( of both sides ) to watch their team….
Unless we're splitting the stand and/or Bolton have refused to give us their full away end that's absolute ******** again.
They decide the minimum which is 10% of capacity IIRC which is presumably what we are giving Bolton given that there are seats we cant sell to away fans ( front 2 rows aisle seats etc ) I dont think they set a maximum
Well done reds, stops it feeling like a home match for them. Can't imagine it's that much of a financial hit either given all the money is split between the 4 teams.
Whenever there's a fixture change to accommodate a live TV game, people are up in arms on here claiming that fans are never considered in any decision making. We've got a stand that accommodates 6,000 and we're selling just a third of those tickets, denying genuine fans the opportunity to see their team in the play-offs. And people on here are cheering on the decision. I'll tell you who doesn't care about fans: other fans. There's no camaraderie, no understanding, no good will. When there's a complaint, it's not that it affects fans, it's that it affects "me". If it affects someone else then that's positively encouraged. We get exactly what we deserve.
I agree. Think it's absolutely pathetic. Personally, I'm fine with Bolton having 4000+ fans at Oakwell, as long as we've got the same at their place. A large away following really adds to the atmosphere and sense of occasion. Giving Bolton 2000 tickets in a stand that holds 3 times that is pettiness in the extreme. In fact I'd go as far as to say it's tinpot.
Pretty poor again last season was a blame game, was it Bolton or was it us, turned out to be us but we didn’t split that stand poor planning will it be different? Will it eck! E we Ho makes the decision? I’d have guess Mr Flatbread had something to do with it but now he’s not here anymore maybe not. That said I’m not going so shouldn’t really care.
