    One man in particular stands out who shouldn't be getting paid. Hopefully they will have Connor Wilkinson wages to pay too in the new year when we send him back 3 months too late

    Bolton say it's down to a short term funding issue.

    I hope they go bust: they've been a financial basket-case for years.

    Matt Dunham's on his way if there's any justice.

    Their ilk, and the likes of Pay Up Pompey, are (a large part of) the reason we couldn't sustain a second-tier club.

    My heart bleeds. Clubs like Bolton are getting what they deserve and not before time.

    As for the players, well I know they are owed the money and they have contracts, etc. but I'm sure they'll survive until the short term funding issue is resolved. This probably means some small business or the St Johns ambulance won't get paid but as long as the players get their kings ransom then nothing else really matters.

    the players will get their blood money 1 way or another and probably end up with the average paid staff getting shafted.
    i used to liken us both mid-late 90's, proper no frills clubs but they tried to be big time charlies, i know we went tits up but ours were mainly due to itv,
    theirs chasing the qe2 with a wonga credit card in a dingy
    expect it re-named the slazenger stadium soon

    Usually - yes, but Eddie Davies the owner has put in all that money. He's already agreed to sell up and write it off. It was all over our local radio last night, once the new owners come in this week or next they will take over the running of the club.
