booing of players

can someone tell me what benefit this gains? Slate the players all you like after a match, radio, internet, with friends but to do this at a game what possible benefit can this achieve?

comments like I pay my money I expect quality, effort etc is absolute balls you pay money to come see a team you support in the hope of been entertained, no player wants to play badly, miss chances or get slated. Simply put when you play football and have a mare do you mean to? And do you appreciate it when your players and fans get on your back?
