I'm not saying we're nailed on to win. But it seems cracking value. In my opinion we're worth 5/2 at most.
We've won 2 from 7 on the road (= 28.5%) which would almost exactly equate to 5/2, so I'm with you, RAC. Added to that we've lost only 2 away, compared to 4 at home (League). You could argue that our team and style of play are more suited to counter-attacking and possibly therefore, away wins. 4/1 makes us a 20% chance, so we can have over the odds. Even on the above, it's more likely that we won't win than that we will. But surely not four times more likely? If you estimate the probabilities correctly and you get odds greater than the corresponding prices represent, you'll win in the long term - be it horses, dogs or footy. And the Blunts are far from being the best team in this league!
I think we're good for a draw. Maybe a win. I've gone for the bet someone posted on here a few days ago. I've got Hourihane to score and Barnsley to win at 14/1 with Paddy Power. £20 returns £300.
Exactly my way of thinking Orsenkaht. Every so often the bookies unintentionally give you that little bit extra. If you're patient enough to pick them out they can be beaten. It's a shame I'll never be patient enough.
I don't think Bolton are a bad bet at 7/2 away at Norwich tonight considering Norwich could be without 5 players
70/1 on Paddypower for Hourihane to score 2 or more. Not massively likely but still overpriced given his record and the fact he takes pens.
Betfred website for match specials are offering 9/1 for Bolton to score a goal and get at least seven corners. If I was reev that would be my double star nap of the day. Neil Lennon is an underated manager. His time at Celtic dismissed as it's so easy to win that league (not seeing that this year without him). He will get Bolton playing and rising the league soon enough. Scoring a goal shouldn't be asking much because in their eight home games this season they haven't kept a clean sheet since their first home game...... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/norwich-city/results 14 corners in their last home match at a Charlton side doing well, so should hopefully be able to do at least half as good on that front....... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/29608348 That you've said they could have five players missing will only help matters.
70/1?? I don't bet and I refuse to as I imagine I'd get addicted all too easily but that seems overpriced to me. I know he's only scored 2 goals in one match so far but as you say, as a penalty taker I wouldn't say it's as unlikely as all that.
Well good luck. If he manages either of those then he'll beat Ashley Ward's record of shortest time in a season to get into double figures (within last 20 years or so anyway).
Good draw IMO. Bet365 have us at 3/1, Ladbrokes only 11/5. My double tomorrow on Bet365 DUFC 3/4 & BFC draw 3/1.
