Booking Train Tickets In Advance.HELP

i'm just about to book train tickets online, could someone please tell me what "Advanced Single" means

means your booking a single train ticket- one way, in advance of your journey.

Ahem. It's a one way ticket purchesed a set number of days before travel.

It's to try and get folk to book in advance. A lot of on the day fares are much more than 'savers' or advance purchases etc.

get them in early. However the advance fares are fixed times.

thats ok but just be aware, you miss the return booked train your tickets void without upgrading...
