A few years ago Alexei Sayle had a column in a Sunday paper where he mentioned that on tour they had a contest to tell the most boring but true story. My entry would have been the story told to me by our deputy engineer when i was working for the coal board. I was working on my own on an outbye haulage engine when Pete arrived and decided to stop and talk. He told me how he had been going to walk down to the Chapeltown Asda when his young daughter asked if she could come with him , he was reluctant as she was so young but he agreed and she walked all the way there without asking to be carried so as a reward he bought her a bottle of pop they walked all the way home and she did'nt ask for a drink and so he ended the story after twenty minutes by saying "so now we've got a bottle of pop in the fridge" i couldn't say anything in case i burst out laughing.
RE: lol my missis nearly beat it when i got in from work today. she told me that she'd been to Asda and they had some of my favourite pizza's on special Spinach and Mascarpone £2.50 down from £2.98 they were still in date but she did'nt have any money on her so she did'nt buy them and? is that it?
RE: lol boring fact but true......... my brother in law developed those pizzas ages ago.
I remember trialing them for him
