Odejayi did well when he came on</p> Hassell had a stinker</p> JCR WAS AMAZING</p> Leon should have started</p>
jcr was the best of a bad bunch. what was surprising was that foster and macken had an off day. ...and don't get me started on disco and stan...!
It's very difficult to play in bad winds like today and QPR didn't do very well either. The wind can be very difficult at Oakwell.
For all Disco's lack of endeavour I'd have still taken Van Homoet off for Leon and pushed Hassell back into defence. Hassell has never been a midfielder and Van Homoet has never been a footballer.
How do you know? http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/bbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=99035&mid=639125#M639125
theyre professional footballers in England I would have hoped that by now they would have worked out how to play with a bit of wind. If they havent then i'll help them out with a quick pointer. Don't kick the chuffing thing 50 foot in the air, it will catch in the wind.
RE: Might have more to do with being played out of position nt That shouldn't prevent him being able to pass the ball, Control it, tackle, pick up runners and mark players.
No it doesn't but it would contribute to being unable to sustain a higher level of performance throughout in a position he is unaccustome3d to, wouldn't it. I think you're being hard on the player, I think he gives 100% and is a decent, if not spectacular full back (and a decent CB to boot). The manager asked him to play in midfield, IMO he just doesn't have the required attributes to play there
Your mobile phone has a wind gauge on it? And it can tell how windy it is at another place entirely? You're bonkers
