    Whilst still the elected mayor of London, he stands and gets a seat in parliament. How would hit boss react of you said 'nar then, I fancy doin somat else an all. I know you pay me well enough, but I'm taking another job as well! '

    How can this happen. The people of London are stupider than I thought ...

    Wasn't he the editor of the Spectator the same time as he was an MP the last time?

    Plus he writes books and presents TV programmes, he's a renaissance man.

    First law of politics

    Right wing govt + right wing (controlled) press = freedom of speech
    Left wing Govt + left wing (controlled) press = no freedom of speech ie commie barstewards (or whatever the fashionable phrase is)

    Keep feeding the masses propaganda and, sooner or later, they will swallow it.
