    Thought barnsley contained us first half but Boro got a bit of joy down our left, kike should of put a few in the net. Second half slightly better but still a poor performance by the Boro. A lot of complaining by the Boro fans about the performance but still looked in control until about 70 minutes and started being complacent. Reach brought us width and then leadbitter steadying the ship after Clayton was sent of for a deserved second red. In the end was a fair result, was expecting more from Boro today, would of been beaten in the championship with a performance like that.

    Cheers pal. Easy day at the office for your boys today. Never got out of second gear, never looked in danger of conceding a goal. Shame we couldn't give you a better game. Or a shot on target.

    Cheers Boro, it's good to read the opinions of the opposition fans. It was just a shame that we were so poor today, I came to the game expecting to lose but to at least give you a game.

    Think both teams performed poorly but with a much higher budge/wage bill and Steve gibsons backing and a division higher, our bad performance was a comfortable win. I personally like barnsley, we are a north eastern team stuck without many northern games. More northern teams higher up the pyramid the better.

    As I said before hope you move up the league soon

    It's ok. We can afford for kike to miss a few. We can play vossen a Belgian international, bamford who is on fire,or Tomblin, also an englan gland under 19 who has scored 4 in the last 5 england games or bring in Luke Williams who tortured you for the other week while out on loan.

    Options options options, anyhow to the lads who are realistic, and not bellends, all the best for the new year.

    gotta say though - that lee tomlin grinds my gears. niggly fcuker was at it all game. kind of player i hate playing against us, but wish we had!
