    REDS manager Simon Davey remains hopefully of adding new faces to his squad ahead of the big kick off next weekend.</p>

    Speaking exclusively to www.barnsleyfc.co.uk, Simon said: &quot;Hopefully we will have more faces in for the big kick off. I think I may be close to deals for two and with a bit of luck they could be in the squad for the Coventry game.</p>

    &quot;It is important that we strengthen further after losing a lot of players in the summer. We have completely overhauled the squad since November but we still need a couple of bodies in certain positions&quot;.</p>
