This is definitely better than tip 1. This only took me 2 mins to do while the first i found hard unscrewing the seat then putting it back afterwards.

it also works for apples but you need too many for grapes.

No you cotton headed ninny muggins….you get yourself a quick release seat, and obviously you use thimbles for grapes

Sick of putting the kettle on every time you want a cup of tea? Make an hole in the top of your hot water tank & put a full box of tea bags in, seal hole back up. Hay presto, running hot tea.

There's a great Instagram account called British Goop, which has these sorts of household tips, taken from 'take a break' type magazines.

Tired of watching the news? cut out two black circles, place one in the top left hand side of the T.V. screen & the other top right & all of a sudden Micky Mouse is reading the news.

Back in the 1970's, when I joined the British Steel Stocksbridge Wages Dept., we all had a number of these to count out the money going into the emplyees' weekly wage packets.

Save thousands of pounds on expensive fitted carpets. Simply strap two tester squares to your bare feet and get that new carpet feel wherever you walk in the house.

(This is undoubtedly stolen from a half remembered Viz Top Tips back in day)
