    Makes me sick

There is so much money in the game these days and so little of it trickles down beyond the top of the championship.

Bournemouth owe a lot of money but on the other hand it's less than Frank Lampard's annual salary.

It's about time the FA set up some sort of crisis fund to help these struggling clubs out. Just because Bournemouth only get 4,000 fans they have much right to see their football club exist as the Man Utd and Liverpool fans. Its the FA's responsibility to make that happen IMHO

I don't see why the likes of Abramovich don't help them out

Donate enough to help them survive, not exactly gunan dent his wallet!

because if they get hand outs evertime they get in financial trouble....

it just encourages them to do so

Don't think clubs purposely go into debt (apart from Cardiff City)

It's not up to another club's benefactor to bail out clubs in trouble. It's about a more even distribution of the massive wealth enjoyed by the premiership clubs which they only waste paying six figure wages to people like Freddie Ljungberg.

When the FA sanctioned the Premier League

they lost all credibility with me.

If they had refused to sanction it, there is no way it could have existed. But the FA were so jealous of the Football League, that they jumped at the opportunity.

Well I hope they are really satisfied with the way things have gone.

surley someone like abramovich could buy them out stopping them from going out of business, and then operate the club very much in the style of a barcelona b, though obvously keeping there name and history
