I think it's a bit naff that the box office wasn't open Saturday afternoon or Sunday. It would have been **** for the staff having to work, but this was the last weekend before the (keep your own seat) renewal deadline. I've just had to spent 15 minutes on hold on the 0871 number to renew mine after an aborted trip to jOakwell on Saturday aft. Yes I could have gone earlier but like a lot of folk I wanted to keep my money in my pocket for as long as possible. And with Davey still the manager and a piss poor rumour mill on any new signings there was hardly a massive incentive for me to fork out earlier. Oh well let's hope Davey improves on the ***** he's served up these last 2 years. I live in hope that the reason for renewing again isn't solely because I like where I sit and I don't want to move or have someone else in my seat.
